NAID Organizes Webinar on Learning Difficulties, Role of Technology

The National Academy of Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities (NAID) is organizing a webinar on “Learning Difficulties and the Role of Technology,” on April 7.

The webinar is one in a series of activities organized as part of the awareness programs on Assistive Technology (AT) that NAID launched to support and empower PwDs, under the theme “Ideas by exceptional abilities.”
A group of experts and distinguished speakers are participating in the webinar. It targets PwDs, caregivers, special education teachers, and researchers in AT uses.

The webinar aims to raise awareness of learning difficulties, including understanding, cognitive, reading, attention or thinking difficulties, as well as dyslexia. The topics of discussion will cover those disabilities types, symptoms, impact on children, ways of diagnosis, and how we can support those affected by them.

Established in 2018, NAID is an affiliated organization to the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). NAID mandate is to empower PwDs and support their inclusion in the society.
